On April 22, 2000 Brazil turned 500 (counting from the day Cabral showed up, the people who were already here have a different opinion about that), and the whole country had a countdown clock for it. So I made my own, in Flash 4, with my friend Rodrigo Leo.
You press Começar and a clock runs from year 15 to year 500, stopping at a different side of Brazil each time (Culture, Sports, People, Politics, Poverty, Technology…) with a few photos fading in around it, until the flag builds itself at the end.
