Paratii, Between Two Poles

Translated from the Portuguese.

“A big book to be a backpack book. Right, it isn’t a backpack book, but it’s a story to carry in any luggage.”

Really a big story to carry in a backpack. After all, almost 2 years sailing (or freezing) can only bring big stories. It was the first time in this life that Amyr Klink ventured to the South Pole, and in a planned change of plans he also felt the winds of the North Pole up close.

I believe this adventure (even though he denies being an adventurer) left this “non adventurous” sailor incredibly fascinated with the poles. After all, there were other visits to Antarctica later, or maybe he was always curious about these lands at the end of the world.

Whoever read Cem Dias Entre Céu e Mar may miss something, or notice the presence of a lot more, since the boat and the length of the trip were much smaller in that adventure, unlike the doubts and questions going through Amyr’s head.

Amyr Klink would like to travel with you and Paratii, Entre Dois Pólos:

This is the part where the places go, and this time I asked Amyr himself where he’d recommend reading his books. I’m still waiting for the answer, so for now the places are up to you…
