New Hobby

About two months ago I bought a digital camera (an Aiptek DV3500), and that’s when I started getting into photography. Only as a hobby, though, because I’d rather have a simple amateur camera I can take anywhere without worrying about outside factors (theft, loss, accidents)… Every photo you’ll see or have already seen here with the site’s signature was taken with this camera. I recommend it for anyone who wants to have fun and doesn’t have $.

Today’s photos were my first ones with this camera. The quality is so-so, I didn’t know how to adjust the camera’s settings yet.

An orange rose among dark green leaves, signed diegodotta.zip.net in the corner
Orange rose from my backyard.

A pipe covered in dead vines, which I edited a little, nothing major. (Photo lost.)

A sunset on the Beira-Mar, which is where I noticed the difference between an amateur camera and a professional one. (Photo lost.)

I kept shooting with that camera for the rest of the year, and those photos are in My First Camera (usefilm, 2004).
